Our Volunteer Cadet Corps
The Volunteer Cadet Corps is made up of three distinct branches.
Each branch has its own identity, focus, and proud traditions.
Whether training at sea, in the field, or on the parade ground, our Royal Naval Cadets, Royal Marines Cadets, and RMVCC Bands offer unique experiences that challenge, inspire, and develop young people across the UK.
All share the same commitment to teamwork, discipline, and service.
Royal Naval Cadets
The Royal Naval Volunteer Cadet Corps, an integral part of the VCC, nurtures leadership and discipline among its cadets through diverse activities and structured training, culminating in ceremonial parades and public displays.
Our motto “Meet the Challenge” encapsulates the ethos and values of our Royal Naval Cadets.
Royal Marines Cadets
The Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps, part of the wider Royal Marines Cadets family, cultivates resilience and readiness among its members, spanning various locations and engaging in rigorous training, parades, and public events.
Our motto “Be Worthy” fosters a sense of honour and duty within its cadets.
Royal Marines Band Cadets
The Bands of the Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps, located in Gosport & Plymouth and supported by the Royal Marines Band Service, showcase musical prowess and discipline, adding a melodious and rhythmic dimension to our cadets’ public appearances and ceremonial events.
