Adventure Training

Challenge Yourself. Discover Your Potential.

Adventure Training is one of the cornerstones of the Volunteer Cadet Corps experience. Through a range of outdoor activities, cadets are encouraged to challenge themselves, develop resilience and gain confidence in their own abilities.

Activities may include hill walking, climbing, abseiling, camping, expeditions, paddle sports and other adventurous pursuits. Working as part of a team, cadets learn valuable skills such as leadership, communication, navigation and problem-solving while enjoying some of the UK’s most inspiring outdoor environments.

Adventure Training is designed to be both challenging and rewarding, helping cadets discover what they can achieve when they push beyond their comfort zone. The experiences gained often create lasting memories, strong friendships and a sense of accomplishment that extends far beyond the activity itself.

Whether on land, at sea or in the mountains, Adventure Training helps cadets develop the confidence, resilience and determination to meet life’s challenges and truly Be Worthy.
