Covid Restrictions Eased

We are delighted that our journey towards some resemblance of normality is continuing today with the move of the VCC to Level 5 on its Covid roadmap. This means that overnight and residential activities are now permitted, albeit with some continuing Covid-safe measures in place and subject to risk assessments.

Most of our units have now returned to face-to-face training and activities, with HMS Collingwood RNVCC being the last but one unit to return. Lympstone Division RMVCC hopes to return at some point in October.

“Having seen our cadets and adult volunteers out and about at events this weekend I know we all keen to get back to something nearer normal. Our people are eager to crack on with their training, see their friends and enjoy the cadet experience” said Lt Col (VCC) Chris Spratt, Commander VCC. “The safety and welfare of our people remains our top priority however.”
