MEET THE
CHALLENGE

VCC-77.jpg

WELCOME

The Volunteer Cadet Corps (VCC) is a MOD sponsored youth organisation and part of the Royal Navy's Cadet Forces.  We were originally formed in 1901 to gainfully occupy the spare time of sailors' and marines' children.  Although similar to our colleagues in the Sea Cadet Corps and Combined Cadet Force, the VCC is unique in being solely based in a number of Naval establishments where logistical and training support is provided.

The VCC is open to young people between the ages of 9 and 18, and is managed and run by unpaid volunteer staff.
The aim of the VCC is to help develop young people into dependable and reliable members of society by using the traditions, standards and ethos of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.

GET QUALLIFIED
